Engineering for devOps and release on demand

Although any transformational change to the new ways of working must start with culture, at some point along the way organisations will explore the technologies that support working together differently.

The technologies that automate the application deployment and infrastructure deployment systems are known as the devOps toolchain.  There are a score of categories and literally hundreds of technologies that could be adopted and the question facing every organisation is ‘where to start?’.

In this half day workshop for senior technical engineers and managers, we position and place context on the underlying concepts of continuous working and how the five aspects of continuous working interact and support each other.  We identify best practices approaches to adopt, and reveal pitfalls that organisations can avoid.  In the final part of the session we identify a requirements led approach to implementing a devOps tool chain strategy and roadmap to get the organisation started
